Way back in 1999, the idea of having a Spring festival that celebrated Matta and promoted Earth friendly creations was born. Artists and art conniseurs were the first carriers of this dream.

 

In truth we are all artists of some form or another. 

But this page is about acknowledging the many big hearted performing, visual, and vendor artists which have graced Matta Fest over the years.  Painters, weavers, sculptors, hoopers, dancers, fire eaters, drummers, tai chi practitioners, yogis, healers, jugglers, musicians and singers, thank you for helping to define community as common unity.
